Lateral movement remains the next hurdle for the Rockies’ two-time all-star shortstop Troy Tulowitzki to clear as he pushes toward a rehab assignment following surgery on his left groin last month.
Despite speculation, Tulowitzki has not been shut down for the season, nor has he given up on playing this year. He has begun hitting off a tee and continues to do light running.
“I hope to get back but obviously I will make sure I am ready,” Tulowitzki told The Denver Post on Thursday.
